Funding

The Music Faculty currently has no full or partial studentships that it is able to offer, but there are various University (and college) schemes and opportunities.

For information about funding for graduate students go to http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/studentfunding/postgraduate/index.shtml and the Humanities website http://www.humanities.ox.ac.uk/graduate_study/funding

AWARDS

British Academy Postdoctoral scheme

DPhil students who are interested in the British Academy Postdoctoral scheme should complete this form and return it to Dr Dan Grimley by 31st July.

College Travel Awards

Most Oxford colleges offer travel grants to both undergraduates and postgraduates. These can be to help with the costs of attending an academic conference, a research trip, or to help with the cost of a 'worthy' holiday (for example, a trip to Venice in preparation for studying the music of St. Mark's might well be considered favourably by a college grant-making committee).
