Calling All Alumni!
The Oxford Musician is the latest glossy magazine to hit the newsstands.
It is full of news and features about the activities of the Faculty of Music today, as well as celebrating the achievements of our many distinguished alumni around the world.
In the first issue you will find features on, among other things, Turkish music, writing opera for children, the Bate Collection, Mitsuko Uchida's visit to Oxford, and the 50th birthday of Schola Cantorum.
Copies are being sent to all graduates of the Faculty of Music whose details we know. If your copy has not arrived within a couple of weeks, then please email oxfordmusician@music.ox.ac.uk and a copy will be sent to you.
You can also download a pdf of the magazine from our new web pages designed especially for alumni - click here. These pages will be growing over the coming months, so keep checking them. We hope all our alumni will use them as a way of keeping in regular contact with us. We want to hear from you! Tell us your news!
Oxford Musician will be an annual publication. Watch out for the second issue next Spring. And if you have news, ideas for features, or suggestions how we can better communicate with our alumni, then please do get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you.
