Choral Recording of the Month

A new recording of Haydn's Creation performed by New College Choir and the Oxford Philomusica under Edward Higginbottom has just been nominated as choral recording of the month in the December edition of the BBC Music Magazine (given 'five stars' for both performance and 'sound'). The recording also features Mhairi Lawson (soprano), Rufus Müller (tenor) and David Stout (bass). It is released on the Oxford Philomusica label (OP 008-9).
