Daniel Hyde Appears at the BBC Proms
Daniel Hyde, Informator Choristarum at Magdalen College, will be making his third
appearance at the BBC Proms this Wednesday (4 August) in the late-night Prom from the Royal Albert Hall, London. He will be performing J S Bach’s Canonic Variations on
‘Von Himmel Hoch’ for organ solo, BWV 769.
He shares the platform with the London Sinfonietta, whose programme includes Stravinsky's recasting of the Bach Variations, conducted by David Atherton.
The Prom starts at 22.00 and can be heard live on BBC Radio 3 and online, and for seven days afterwards via the BBC i-Player.
