Fourth Orlando Composition Prize 2009

Christ Church is pleased to announce the Fourth competition of the annual Orlando Composition Prize. The Competition, open to all graduates and undergraduates currently studying at the University of Oxford, is for an unaccompanied setting (SATB) of The Lord’s Prayer. Please apply to the address below (or email: stephen.darlington@chch.ox.ac.uk) for a copy of the text and the Competition rules.

The first prize will be £500 and it is provisionally planned to perform the winning piece during Trinity Term 2009.

Two copies of each entry (preferably produced on Sibelius) should be sent to: Dr Stephen Darlington, Organist and Tutor in Music, Christ Church Oxford OX1 1DP, by Friday 24 April 2009.
