Queen's College Choir at International University Choirs Festival

The Choir of The Queen's College, directed by Dr Owen Rees, represented Oxford at the 12th International Meeting of University Choirs at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, during April. Choirs participating in this year's event included groups from Poland and Lithuania, as well as several Portuguese choirs. Queen's Choir received a standing ovation for its performance in the church of São Francisco in Coimbra, and also sang for the Mass in the 16th-century chapel of Coimbra University
