Recognition of Distinction

The Faculty of Music offers its warmest congratulations to Professor Edward Higginbottom (Organist and Fellow of New College) and Professor Robert Saxton (Fellow of Worcester College) for the award to both of them of their new titles in the University's biennial Recognition of Distinction excercise.

The announcement coincides with the news that New College Choir, under Professor Higginbottom's direction, has won the prestigious 'Early Music' category in the Gramophone awards for their recording of music by Nicholas Ludford.
