The Work of Music

The Work of Music is the title of a special series of lectures taking place on Thursdays during May at Wolfson College. The lectures begin at 18.00, as follows:

Timothy Gowers (Trinity College, Cambridge), 12 May: ‘Music and mathematics’

Eric Clarke (Faculty of Music), 19 May: ‘Music and psychology’

Dame Janet Baker (singer), 26 May: ‘Music and words’
