Three Men, Two Cellos

A new instrument, new sonorities, and new insights motivated Pieter Wispelwey to make this new recording of Bach's Cello Suites.

A special DVD is released as a bonus to accompany the double CD. Beautifully shot in the Holywell Music Room, and in Wadham and Magdalen Colleges, it features Wispelwey in musical and scholarly interaction with Bach researchers Professors Laurence Dreyfus (Magdalen College) and John Butt (Glasgow University).
