Vacancy: Associate Professor of Music at Merton College

The University, in association with Merton College, seeks to appoint an Associate Professor (or Professor) of Music with effect from 1 September 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.  The University and the College are seeking candidates with musicological interests and expertise in the long 19th century, particularly those concerned with music in its critical and cultural contexts.  Candidates should hold a doctorate in music or a closely related discipline, already awarded at the time of application.
