BBC Radio 3 New Music Show: Explore Ensemble in session

DPhil Music student Nicholos Moroz has featured with Explore Ensemble on BBC Radio 3’s New Music Show, in which Kate Molleson and Tom Service present exclusive recordings, new releases, composer interviews and features from around the UK, Europe and across the world. In the first broadcast, Explore Ensemble perform works by Michael Finnissy, James Weeks, Clara Iannotta, Mauro Lanza and Cassandra Miller. In the second episode, Explore Ensemble present music from Lisa Illean, Oliver Leith and Clarence Barlow, amongst others.

Nicholas Moroz is a composer and researcher based in London. He is the artistic director of Explore Ensemble, and co-curator of EXPO Oxford. His research interests include contemporary music, experimental music, sound art, composition, live electronic music, space and spatialisation, musical agency, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
