About the series:

Join Oxford Contemporary Opera for a series of virtual talks with composers, directors, conductors, singers and executives in the opera industry. Oxford Contemporary Opera was founded by Zerlina Vulliamy, Sam Padfield and Priya Radhakrishnan in 2018 with the aim of giving students a platform to perform, write, direct and produce opera. We believe that modern opera is limitless and has the potential to explore everything and anything, tackling issues whilst also providing entertainment. We also wanted to introduce the Oxford community to new forms of opera, making opera more accessible and we’re happy to say our audiences always range from opera lovers to opera novices.
