The Faculty of Music proposes to appoint a full time, fixed-term Departmental Lecturer in Music in association with Christ Church. This is for a fixed term of one year with effect from 1 September 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.
For the Faculty, the appointee will give 36 hours of lectures/seminars per year and will undertake examining and graduate supervision. For Christ Church, the appointee will take responsibility for the organisation, supervision and teaching of music at the college.
Applications are welcome from candidates with expertise in music of the 20th and 21st centuries, and in musical theory and analysis, and who have teaching expertise and experience – at undergraduate and graduate level – in music.
Candidates must hold a doctorate in music or a closely related discipline, already awarded at the time of application.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Monday 14 June 2021. Interviews are expected to take place remotely on Monday 5 July.
