Turtle Opera is a drama and music project for 10-14 year olds with Autism Spectrum Disorders. It benefits children with ASD and trains music students in working with this cohort. Turtle Opera took place in collaboration with the Music Faculty in 2015 and 2017.
Students from the Music Faculty at Oxford University will again run the project in partnership with Autism Family Support Oxfordshire. It is a groundbreaking creative project aimed at this under-resourced group of children and families, with the objective of changing their life experience and altering the perceptions of others.
Turtle Opera has been nominated for a OneFamily Foundation Community award, with the potential to receive £25,000 for the project. Please take a few minutes out of your day to vote for Turtle Opera! Just click on this link.
