Alumna Chloe Rooke featured in ICCR documentary

The International Conducting Competition Rotterdam have produced a video showcasing the conducting journey of Faculty of Music alumna Chloe Rooke (St Catherine's College, 2015). In the video, Chloe describes how her years at Oxford helped her discover her passion for conducting.

Recently announced as the Assistant Conductor for 2022/23 of the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Chloe Rooke is a British conductor, developing a reputation for performances that uplift, connect and inspire. She will join the Finals in May 2022 of the first Rotterdam Conducting Competition, having been selected one of 6 Designate Winners in the first round last year. Also in 2021, she was awarded the Audience Prize at the Donatella Flick-LSO Conducting Competition, and attracted attention at the Malko Competition where she was their youngest competitor.
