Using the composers Johann Christian Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and their shared teacher, Padre Gianbattista Martini, my thesis explores the sharing of ideas, musical, literary, and historiographical, especially those relating to classical antiquity, in a specific professional network.
