Events at Trinity is pleased to launch its third season of public events showcasing the fine acoustics of the de Jager auditorium with some of the world’s most exciting classical musicians. Featuring three former BBC Young Musicians of the Year, the performances are a mixture of some of the most treasured works in the classical canon sitting alongside less familiar works: from JS Bach’s Goldberg Variations and Beethoven’s Ghost Trio to Lili Boulanger, Guilamme Lekeu and Mel Bonis, there is a feast of musical performances to choose from.

Schubert’s final three sonatas for piano, all written during the last few months of his life, are works that have achieved an almost legendary status as supreme examples of his highly personal art

at its most mature and intense.
