The Choir of Pusey House, Oxford

The Oxford Baroque Players perform Haydn's Paukenmesse alongside concertos and symphonies from the Bach family. Supported by the beautiful surroundings of St John the Evangelist, they will explore musical styles and genres from across the eighteenth century, including a lesser-known symphony by the "London" Bach, Johann Christian. The concert ends with Haydn's choral masterpiece, a jubilant but troubled work written during the French Revolutionary Wars.

A student-led ensemble, Oxford Baroque Players features Music undergraduates.

The Choir of Pusey House is directed by Edward Gaut, a Music student at Keble College.
