Jazz at St John's: Samuel Boateng, Eve Boulos & Adepa Ensemble

Jazz at St John’s presents an evening of original music and poetry by Adepa Ensemble. For its second installment, the concert series brings back pianist Dr Samuel Boateng (Career Development Research Fellow, St John’s College), and saxophonist Eve Boulos (Music, St John’s College). The night will also feature music by Zimbabwean vocalist and mbira artist John Pfumojena, along with poetry by Oxford-based multidisciplinary artist and social justice advocate Rawz, and Nigerian poet and writer Yomi Chibuikem Folaranmi. The evening’s musicians also include Drum Dee (drums), Matthew Reavley (bass), and Jamie Castell (saxophone).
