Cash prizes will be awarded to the winner of each competition category.

Battle of the Bands Oxford is a large cross college live music event taking over The Varsity Club for one night.

The event brings together musicians, vocalists, bands, and performers from across Oxford for an evening of live competition, DJs, karaoke, and an after party.

There will be two competition categories: a College Category for acts representing Oxford colleges and an Open Category for all other performers. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winner of each category.

All genres and setups are welcome, from full bands and acoustic acts to solo performers, duos, jazz groups, vocal ensembles, and instrumental groups.

The event is jointly organised by St Hugh’s, Mansfield, Green Templeton College, Reuben, and St Cross, with participation from a growing number of Oxford colleges and external groups.
