Singers from far and wide are invited to come and join John Rutter as he brings his very popular Singing Day to St Edward’s School. We will explore some of John’s best loved music, including:

  • The Sprig of Thyme
  • It was a lover and his lass
  • Look to the day
  • A Ukrainian Prayer
  • Feel the spirit
  • Amazing grace
    As well as George Shearing's Who is Silvia

Approximate time table

Doors open at 10.00 and refreshments will be available

Singing starts at 11.00 am

First session: 11.00 am – 12.45 pm

Lunch break: 12.45 pm – 2.00 pm

Afternoon session: 2.00 pm – 3.25 pm

Tea break: 3.25 pm – 3.55 pm

Final session: 3.55 pm – 4.55 pm

Music will be available on the day at no extra cost

Please either bring a packed lunch, or there are a number of eateries within walking distance of St Edward’s and we can give you the relevant information so please ask! Refreshments will be available at the start and at the breaks for which a donation would be gratefully received.

Additionally, some of John Rutter's music and CDs will be available to purchase on the day.
