Weekend Pass Ticket Offer For All Events: £45 / £16

Friday 12th - Sunday 14th January 2024

Our first-ever January New Music Weekend has been gathered together not just to celebrate the sixtieth birthday of Professor Martyn Harry, but to profile a number of exciting new compositional research projects—both from within Oxford and from outside. It gives us great pleasure to welcome the Neo Quartet to Oxford for the first of several collaborative projects with Professor Harry in the next few years; the Czech composer Jakub Rataj for the two UK premieres of his pieces, both to be given by pianist Jonathan Powell: and the wonderful British choir EXAUDI for Sunday’s unique event focusing on Eugene Birman’s remarkable documentary opera, ‘Russia: Today’.
