The Oxford Baroque Players return for a concert of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater and instrumental works by Henry Purcell. Supported by the beautiful surroundings of Merton College Chapel, Verity Sawbridge (soprano) and Harry Street (countertenor) bring to life this expressive setting of Mary's suffering during the crucifixion, written just before the composer's death.

A student-led ensemble, Oxford Baroque Players features Music undergraduates.
