OUJO is Oxford’s premier student jazz ensemble and big band, showcasing a variety of exceptional swing, funk and modern big band music. With sell-out shows in exciting venues across the city, private functions including college balls, and overseas tours, OUJO is one of the most rewarding opportunities available to a musician in Oxford. This year promises collaborations and workshops with top UK jazz musicians, plans for a tour to the USA, and concerts with our rival ensembles at Cambridge, Leeds, Durham and Imperial. OUJO has been a multiple-time winner at the BBC Radio 2 National Big Band Competition, and has performed at the Oeuf de Jazz Festival in Le Mans, the OK! Celebrity Ball in London, and the Bull's Head jazz venue in Barnes, west London.
