A workshop led by former Queen's students, soprano Esther Mallett and conductor Harry Sever. Student conductors from Queen's will be working on a range of operatic repertoire, including arias from Le Nozze di Figaro, Werther, La Bohème, and Hänsel und Gretel. The workshop will explore various aspects of conducting opera: languages and text, accompanied recitative, working with soloists, & orchestral technique.
