Street/Tweed - Epilogue
Zoë Tweed performs a horn recital alongside pianist Mark Rogers, supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust Recital Scheme.
Zoë was awarded her first trial at 20 years old with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for their Principal Horn position, and became the youngest member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in December 2023. She has performed with various orchestras throughout the UK, including as a soloist.
Zoë has recorded music for film and TV, and performed instrumentals on albums by artists such as Alison Sudol and Cody Fry. She also writes and arranges music for solo horn and piano, wind quintet, brass quartet and quintet. In 2024, Zoë joined the brass faculty at the Royal College of Music as a Horn professor.
Mark Rogers is an American pianist specialising in vocal and chamber music. He has been a Young Artist at the International Lied Festival Zeist, Leeds Lieder Festival, and the Ludlow English Song Weekend. Mark performs recitals regularly with musicians on the Countess of Munster and Philharmonia schemes. Previously, he was the accompanist for BBC Choir of the year Les Sirenes, and is a staff pianist at Oxenfoord summer school. With tenor Hugo Brady, he will be on the Oxford Song Young Artist scheme for the next two years.
