Somerville Festival of the Piano x RETUNE: Madeleine Dring’s Sonata for 2 pianos

Pianists Alexander Kwon, Eliam Lau, and Mar Umbert put on a concert of piano music by women as part of the collaboration between the RETUNE festival and Somerville Festival of the Piano. The programme will feature Madeleine Dring’s ‘Sonata for two pianos’, as well as repertoire for solo piano including ‘Cherishing thoughts of red cliff’ by Chen Ning Chi, ‘8 memories in watercolour’ by Tan Dun and miniatures by Spanish composer Alicia de Larrocha.
