The Oxford University Sinfonietta presents a beautifully varied programme for its Trinity Term 2025 concert. The evening begins by showcasing the university’s compositional talent with the winner of this year’s composition competition, Tabby Hopper, before Scottish composer Thea Musgrave’s The Seasons, inspired by the paintings of artists, from Piero di Cosimo to Picaso. The second half takes us into the countryside for Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, his Pastoral Symphony. Be sure not to miss this thrilling evening of chamber orchestra repertoire at 8:00PM on Friday the 6th of June at Christ Church Cathedral.
