Less than a year after his wonderful clavichord recital, ‘Bach’s Attick’, Julian Perkins returns to Oxford with one of the German composer’s greatest and best-loved works, the ‘Goldberg Variations’, performing the work on the instrument originally intended by Bach: a two-manual harpsichord.
