About Wendy Gadian
Wendy Gadian’s career as a musical director has spanned the last three decades and has included working with many of the UK’s foremost theatre performers, choreographers, writers and directors including Sam Mendes, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Maria Friedman and Clive Rowe. For the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, she established the BA (Hons) Acting Musical Theatre Course, founded the ALW Foundation Associate Musical Director scheme before going on to co-found Ladies in the Stave, a networking and mentoring scheme for female identifying musical directors. The Musicians’ Union awarded her the honorary title of Ambassador for Women in Musical Theatre in 2019.
