Golden Coral Desert: Garden Centre & Max Blansjaar
Wednesday 3 June 2026, 8pm (2 hours including interval)
Common Ground, Little Clarendon Street
£8 (general) / £6 (students)
In the beginning, Garden Centre's purpose was to tell the story of a group of people who found themselves drawn to an abandoned plant nursery in southern England. This project complete, the Brighton five-piece turned its “guileless art-pop” (The Guardian) towards the exploration of other topics: energy drink consumption (2018’s Monster Energy), holes (2021’s A Moon For Digging), and flowing water (2023's Searching for a Stream).
As part of their spring UK tour, they come to Oxford on Wednesday, 3rd June, with support from MSt student Max Blansjaar, who is also organising the event.
