Quintin Beer

Quintin Beer studied Music at St John’s College Cambridge, where he was a choral scholar under Andrew Nethsingha. He completed a Masters in Choral Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music studying with Patrick Russill, Roland Börger, and Paul Brough.

At St Peter’s College, Quintin is responsible for training and directing the reputable College Choir. He also maintains active oversight of all music-making activity in College, including the St Peter’s Music Society which enjoys an enviable reputation as an active and regular propounder of concerts and other musical events.

In addition to his work at St Peter’s, Quintin is the Director of Music at St Cuthbert’s Church in Earl’s Court, which maintains a professional choir on Sunday mornings. He is also the Choral Director at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department, where he has a number of additional teaching responsibilities.

He maintains a professional freelance life as a Baritone in London and each summer, he works as an administrator and tutor on the annual Rodolfus Foundation Choral Courses.
