VANISHING POiNT ENSEMBLE brings together the Master's composers from Oxford's Faculty of Music for one final blowout gig at the JdP Music Building, St Hilda's College. Formed as a farewell ensemble, VANISHING POiNT will perform new pieces written for and by each other, before the programme shifts after the interval into free improvisation. The second half features Oxford University Free Improvisers and a house band performing an extended improvised set, alongside comprovisations and duos. Expect an experimental, action-packed night of new music, collaboration, and free improvisation.

Intermezzo Chamber Choir Summer Concert

The Intermezzo choir will be singing "Songs of Resistance", including eye-opening music from or about the oppressed and unfortunate in South Africa, Haiti, Ireland, the American south, Soviet-occupied Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia, and of course ancient Babylon.
