The Faculty of Music is delighted to announce a new lunchtime recital series, taking place in Christ Church Cathedral. The recitals will predominantly take place on Friday's from 1.15pm.
Curated by the Director of Performance, Maria Razumovskaya, these recitals will showcase the wonderful skills of our performance students. Performing a wide range of repertoire, we hope there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

Contrapunctus: Charles & Isabel - The Royal Wedding of 1526
Oxford’s renowned early-music consort Contrapunctus recreates the musical world surrounding one of the great royal marriages of the Renaissance: the wedding of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor and King of Spain, and Isabella of Portugal in Seville in 1526.
Abolition Song and its Legacies
This is the final event of a two‑year research project, bringing together music, scholarship and contemporary reflection. Alongside performances, the hour‑long programme features contributions from the project’s researchers, offering insight into the historical and musical contexts behind the work.
