Horn and brass masterclass with Beth Randell

A masterclass with guest visiting artist Beth Randell, Deputy Head of Wind, Brass & Percussion (Brass) at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Horn Tutor for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. 
 
A distinguished and versatile performer on both modern and period horn, Randell works with many of the UK and Europe’s leading ensembles, including the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, City of London Sinfonia, Academy of St Martin in the Fields and English Chamber Orchestra. Her performing career has taken her to major international stages and festivals, from Carnegie Hall and Wigmore Hall to the BBC Proms and Lucerne Festival. 
 
Drawing on this breadth of orchestral, chamber and historical performance experience, Beth will work with students on repertoire, technique and musicianship, sharing insights into the particular demands and possibilities of brass playing across different periods and styles.
