This DPhil research aims to explore the role that sound plays in our urban environment outside of the emphasis on noise, investigating how sound art and artistic knowledge can shape the future of urban sound environments.
Research interests
Sound arts practice, practice-based research, urban sound environments, urban planning, sound management, sound studies, site-specific practice, participatory art, collaborative working, field recording.
