Professor Sarah Hill will appear at this year's Hay Festival, in conversation with BBC DJ Huw Stephens. The event, entitled 'Wales: A Hundred Records', will explore how Huw Stephens selected 100 Welsh records for his new book, and how these artists have influenced Wales’ culture, past and present. The pair will also analyse highlights in the careers of the most important recording artists Wales has produced, singing in English or Welsh – including Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Dafydd Iwan, Max Boyce, Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals, Adwaith and Mace the Great.
Taking place on Saturday 25 May, you can book tickets on the Hay Festival website.
