Tim Anderson (New College, 2010), now based in Berlin, is to conduct the distinguished Austrian Chamber Orchestra on their tour of Hong Kong, Korea, and Japan in March 2025. The three programs - 'AMOPERA', 'tritsch tratsch (J. Strauss 200)', and 'Boulez and Berio' - will be heard at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Daegu Opera House, and the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Concert Hall, finishing with a performance of 'AMOPERA' in May at the Weiner Konzerthaus. The group, which specializes in contemporary classical music, was founded by composer and conductor Beat Furrer in 1985, and is cited as Austria's leading contemporary music ensemble.
