LIVE x EMPRES again brings together experimental music, performance, sound art and film for a one-night programme at Modern Art Oxford.

All participants were invited to respond to the MAO retrospective exhibition of Suzanne Treister: Prophetic Dreaming which examines emerging technologies, networks of power, alternative belief systems and potential futures of humanity (4 October 2025 - 3 May 2026). 

The evening will feature a live tarot reading by Suzanne Treister, with improvised response from the Music Faculty's Free Improv group, alongside New York based interdisciplinary artist Devin Kenny, performing "No More Aggregatekeepers" - for microphone, video synthesizer and skateboard.

The multi-room event runs from 6pm - 10pm, presenting various performances and installations by artists and musicians from the University of Oxford's Music Faculty and the Ruskin School of Art; showcasing emerging work across experimental music, sound art, film and performance, including:
